Peace and Development Network PDN is non-for-profit Organization that is projected for the development of humanitarian programs in urban and rural areas of both countries Somalia and Kenya, because natural disaster and civil war has blocked progress towards improving the lives of poor people in Somalia and Kenya.
The wars and natural disasters disrupt, disorient people’s lives through displacements, destruction of livelihoods and property, deaths and lead them destitute. Consequently, they take back years of development thus posing a major challenge to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.
Healthcare is one of the most essential human requirements, and its disbursement should be addressed with the requisite sensitivity to prevent loss of life and decrease in human capital, particularly Somalia and Kenyan people.
